The Joy of 40
As yet another summer sadly comes to an end, I’m looking forward to counting down to the big 4-0 birthday in a mere six months. While I was a little panicky about turning 30 (I spent it in a haze in Club Med Turks & Caicos), I am definitely excited to enter my fifth decade. It will be a new stage in my life, with many different challenges that I have never faced before like trying to have a baby and buying a home. Getting older has definitely been a happy experience. I was recently married, I’m a bit wiser, in great shape, I take better care of myself, I am confident in who I am and have a much better attitude. Still, there is no denying plenty of signs that I’m not twenty-something anymore. Like those lovely small lines that now appear when I smile or the fact I now need days to recover from a late night out. I know there is still so much to learn. Come with me on my journey as I navigate through all of life’s newest challenges. I want to help the intelligent, experienced women of the world live life to the fullest. Along the way, I’ll talk about fashion and styling tips, beauty tricks, health and fitness routines and savvy financial advice. If you don't agree with anything I'm saying, I know you're lying to me.

ReplyDeleteLove it Jen! I turned 40 in January and can hardly wait to hear how your experience is! The day I turned 40, my vision started to go (eye exam showed my vision is 20/20) and I started getting lines around my eyes (trying eye cream and if that doesn't work, botox here I come) and I started getting aches and pains (still trying to work out). Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteVery exciting! I need all the help I can get! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read all of the posts!! Even though I am many years from turning 40 myself : )
